Carlos Arena
Head of Americas Business Development at R3

Carlos Arena is the Head of Americas Business Development at R3. Carlos is responsible for strategy and product development of enterprise blockchain applications in finance and other sectors. His responsibilities include expanding the ecosystem of the Corda users and developers from Canada to Argentina. Prior to R3, Carlos worked 13 years at Goldman Sachs and 2 years at Deutsche Bank as a salesperson for FX and Interest Rate derivatives for Latin American clients. Carlos holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and represented Mexico in swimming at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
