Real-time Payment BI-FAST
Dear Valued Customer,
HSBC Indonesia continues to drive innovation and digital transformation to help your banking transaction faster and easier. With the launch of BI-FAST in Indonesia, we offer our customers the ability to receive money in real-time, anytime anywhere.
From 3 March 2022, you will be able to receive real-time payments in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR) to your HSBC bank account in Indonesia without having required to do any prior registration for transfer of less than or equal to IDR250,000,000 (two hundred fifty million) from member banks of BI-FAST.
There is no additional fee to receive funds through BI FAST. We will be updating HSBCnet to include an additional transaction filter so you can easily identify real-time payments when viewing your account statements and reports.
Using HSBCnet’s Account information service, you can select the ‘RT PYMT’ transaction type to view your incoming real-time payments.
Two simple steps to enjoy the benefits of BI FAST payment service.
- Ensure your account(s) are activated, with no special instruction or restriction setup
- Inform your customer(s) / business partner(s) to make transfer from BI FAST member banks’ account(s)

If you use ERP systems or automated account reconciliation programs for your electronic statements, please see more file format specification for real-time transaction as below. To ensure the on-going operation of your automated reconciliation processes with new real-time payment service, we recommend that you review the new specification with your own IT specialists and, if necessary, make arrangements to update your systems.
